Arriving at Kolossi Castle, a fine example of military architecture originally constructed in the 13th century.  It served first as the Grand Commandery of the Knights Templar, and after the fall of Acre in 1291 for some years, as the headquarters of the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem.

The journey continues westwards to the ancient kingdom of Curium one of the most spectacular archeological sites in Cyprus. You will be guided through the magnificent Roman amphitheater, and through the Baths of the House of Efstolios which has some exquisite mosaics.

The excursion will continue to the pine-clad Troodos Mountains  through the wine country and mountain villages.  Our first visit to Omodhos Village, a traditional wine producing  village of Cyprus where Saint Helen founded a monastery  here in 4th century, and  left a piece of the holy cross. As you walk through the narrow streets of this picturesque village, you will visit this former monastery of old wine press, now a historical monument.

The drive will follow a  through  a shaded  forest area  and across  a beautiful brook, after crossing the famous summer resort area of Platres we will end  at Troodos square and at the top of Mount Olympos provide stunning views all around the island.
